This tree has been under development for a fairly short time.

It is based on John Anderson Mitchell and his wife Irene Cameron Brydon.

The Mitchell side goes back through Dougans and Milroys from Wigtownshire and 
Anderson / Stirling / Prymrois from Edinburgh. There are a few marriages 
involving spouses from ireland. The early milroys were Covenanters some of 
whom were exiles as slaves to the West Indies.

The Brydens, spelled with an -e- until late 19th century, were mainly miners 
from south Ayrshire - Dailly. Some went to work in the mines of Pennsylvania 
(Scranton) forming a branch of the family there. Others moved to Glasgow to 
work in engineering or shipbuilding.
